Installation of an Electric Stove
Our customer initially wanted a wood burning stove but this was not possible as there was no way to flue out. Several options were suggested and discussed and the customer decided we should construct an electric equivalent.
- Take out old fireplace and cap off gas.
- Design chimney breast
- Erect stud partition
- Plaster boarding partition
- Re instate coving
- Plaster skim finish to breast
- Reinstate skirting boards
- Completed with beam, marble hearth, electric stove, false flue pipe.
Great attention to detail and keeping us informed both at the planning stage (preparing templates etc.) and after the initial installations were completed when the fireplaces needed to be certified and commissioned into working order. And all within budget too.
